Soft and Easy on the Feet
Cementitious finishes such as plaster and quartz may begin as smooth finishes, but will degrade over time into a rough texture that can be very abrasive on feet. Pebble finishes, even polished stone versions, are never truly easy on the feet due to their bumpy surface.
Our aquatic coatings were intentionally engineered to be a soft feeling material, best described as an “orange peel” texture; smooth but not slick, creating a pleasant feel on the pool walls and swimmer’s feet in shallow pool areas.
With a new aquaBRIGHT™ or polyFIBRO® coating, there is literally nothing to do except “Balance and Swim”. All other cementitious coatings require some type of startup process and wait-to-heat time period, which means more time your pool is closed and less time your guests can swim.
With our pool coatings, once installed, just fill the pool, balance the water chemistry, and swim in crystal clear water. Pools and spas with ecoFINISH® pool coatings may even be heated immediately after filling.
